Art in the Wild Campaign is Live

I am so excited to share the details of our collaboration with Seen Media, made possible by a Local Arts Support grant from the Brooklyn Arts Council! This project is a vibrant celebration of local talent and urban spaces, transforming everyday streets into open-air galleries that inspire and delight.

This wildposting poster campaign features the stunning work of Morgan Everhart, Christopher Spinelli, James Wolf, and Avani Patel. Each of these artists brings a unique voice and vision to the project, creating a diverse and dynamic visual experience for all who encounter their work. To learn more about the artists and explore their creative journeys, visit our ‘Artists’ page, where you can find their bios and portfolios.

Spanning 13 different locations throughout Brooklyn, the posters showcase high-resolution images of the artists' pieces. Each poster also includes a QR code that passersby can scan to delve deeper into the artists' stories, view additional works, and link directly to their portfolio websites. This interactive element not only enriches the viewer's experience but also provides a meaningful way to connect with and support the artists.

The aim of this project is to activate the plentiful wall space throughout Brooklyn, turning it into a canvas that beautifies our neighborhoods and fosters a sense of community pride. By providing these four incredible emerging artists with much-needed exposure, we hope to elevate their profiles and encourage greater appreciation for the arts in our everyday environment.

To make it easier for you to find and enjoy these posters, we've included a map on our website. This map highlights the exact locations of each poster, allowing you to plan a self-guided tour of the art installations. Whether you're a local resident or a visitor exploring Brooklyn, the map is a handy tool to ensure you don't miss any of the amazing artwork on display.

If you happen to see any of these posters in the wild, please tag us on Instagram @brooklynemac, the artists, @bkartscouncil, @weareseen, and feel free to use the hashtag #ArtintheWild! Sharing your discoveries helps spread the word and supports our mission to bring art to the streets of Brooklyn.
