This summer, BEMAC participated in some special collaborations with organizations in Crown Heights to bring art to the neighborhood and opportunities for artists of all ages to share their creativity.

This past Juneteenth we had the honor of tabling with the Brower Park Pollinator Garden to develop ideas for a mural.

Last month we had the opportunity to celebrate the completion of “Kid’s World of Adventure and Growth” with the Providence House community.

Our wildposting collaboration with Seen Media showcasing the art of emerging Brooklyn artists has gone live thanks to Local Arts Support Grant from the Brookyln Arts Council.

The families and staff at Glenmore gave their feedback on the proposed mural design and collaboratively came up with a title for the piece.

Today our community project with Providence House kicked off with a brainstorming session.

The mural on the autonomous garden in Crown Heights has been completed. It was given the title “Peace and Refreshment” by the artist, James Wolf.
